Wilson Baiardo was hard at work again in Beijing at the National Tennis Center for the 2009 China Open. The event, featuring both the top WTA and ATP Tour players in the world, was held October 2nd - October 11th, 2009.
The Wilson Baiardo Tour Stringing Team is is currently in Melbourne stringing and servicing racquets for the world's top players. Wilson Baiardo is the official stringing machine of the 2010 ABN Ambro World Tennis Tournament. The tournament takes place in Rotterdam and runs February 8th - 14th.
Wilson Baiardo and the Luxilon Stringing Team are in Acapulco, Mexico, this week stringing for the Abierto Mexicano Telcel. The clay court event draws top players from the around world for this ATP World Tour 500 event. The Luxilon Stringing Team expects to string nearly 300 racquets this week on the Wilson Baiardo. The team is lead by Luis Pianelli who is a long time member of the Wilson and Luxilon Stringing Team's. Nicolas Alamagro is the two-time defending champion and enters this weeks event as the #6 seed.
The Luxilon Stringing Team and Wilson Baiardo will be extremely busy the next 10 days while stringing at the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami. On March 17th the Luxlion Stringing team arrived to begin set-up of the Wilson Baiardo stringing machines. During set-up machines are assembled, calibrated, and have test racquets strung on them to make sure they will meet the needs of the players. The team plans on stringing nearly 2000 racquets and servicing the needs of world's best players.
