Serbia Open 2009

Belgrad was the host city of the world´s best tennis players. Baiardo was busy amazing players and spectators at the 2009 Serbia Open. Stringers of all levels marveled at Baiardo's technical advances and precise stringing abilities. More than 100,000 spectators visited the Serbia Open’s centre court from 2nd to 10th of May, during 9 days of excitement and fun. The fans saw great tennis and also had the opportunity to experience the fascinating technology of the new Baiardo machine from Wilson Sporting Goods. Two brand-new Baiardo machines were successfully used in the stringing area at the Serbia Open. A professional stringer stated: “Never had so much fun with stringing a racket. A machine which remembers who you are and that does not forgets the way you like to string the racket.’’ In the main draw, 32 single players and 16 doubles played 74 matches and were successfully supported by the two Baiardo machines in the stringing area. The new Baiardo got a lot off attention not only from players but also from spectators just watching the machine in action. The Baiardo machine is taking the process of stringing rackets to the next level and earned a lot of respect of fans and players at this tournament.
