Problem

Solution

Baiardo will not turn on

Check that machine is plugged into wall outlet

Checkthat power supply is fully connected and LED on power supply is solid green

Remove electronics box and check that all 3 connections are made

Power supply LED is off or flashing green

The power supply has a short circuit or is dead

Call Wilson for a new power supply

Baiardo is running in the wrong language

Reset language (see page 5 of the manual)

"Manual mode" is displayed at start up

Check that there is a good connection between bottom and top of machine (2 wires)

Remove electronics box and check that all 3 connections are made

If machine was stored in extreme cold, allow several hours for machine to warm to room temperature

Touch screen appears dark/hard to read

Touch screen to activate backlight. This is an energy saving feature

Puller head does not move when activator switch is pressed

The puller will only activate when the main stringing screen is displayed

Check that the wire on bottom of puller is connected (see page 33 of manual)

Baiardo is not stable

Move the machine to level surface

Adjust leveling screws in floor plate

String slips through clamp teeth

Adjust clamp (see page 8 of manual)

Clean inner surface of clamp to remove build-up of lubrication from string

String slips through puller

Adjust puller (see page 9 of manual)

Clean inner surface of puller to remove build-up of lubrication from string

Clamp base slips on glide rail when "locked"

Adjust clamp base (see page 8)

Clean glide rail

Remove clamp base from glide rail (see page 32 of manual) and clean brass plug that normally sits below glide rail

String tension seems lower than normal

Check that string is not slipping through clamps

Calibrate machine (see page 26 of manual)

String seems tighter than normal

Calibrate machine (see page 26 of manual)

Clamps leave white marks on string

This is normal on some multifilament strings

Clean and adjust clamps to slightest pressure that still grabs string

Be sure to adjust clampsl for different diameters of string

The hex key set is lost

The hex keys are standard metric set and can be puchased at any tool shop

The power cord is lost

The cord form the power brick to the wally is a standard cord used on many electronic devices such as computer, projectors, etc.

A replacment can be found at many electronic stores

Touch screen glass is cracked or broken and will not work

The machine can be run from the buttons above and below the touch screen

An error code is displayed on the screen

Turn off the machine, wait several minutes and restart

Turn off. Check all connection from base to top (2 wires). Remove ECU box and check all connections (3 wires), replace electronics box and restart

Call Wilson. Be sure to have noted the number of the error code
